Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on The Hospitality Nerd website and dashboard.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're commonly used to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, or track activity across sites.
2. Cookies we use
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies, set by Supabase, to keep you securely logged in to your account. These are required for the dashboard to function and can't be switched off if you want to use the Service.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
3. Local storage
Some dashboard preferences, such as your chosen theme and date range, are saved in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. This data stays on your device and isn't sent to us; it's only used to restore your preferences the next time you visit.
4. Third-party cookies
Our contact form is delivered through Web3Forms, which may use its own cookies or safeguards for spam prevention when you submit the form. We don't control these directly; check Web3Forms' own policies for details.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Since we only use strictly necessary cookies for login, blocking them will prevent the dashboard from working correctly.
6. Changes to this policy
If we introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in future, we'll update this page and add a consent mechanism before those cookies are set.
7. Contact us
